Why do you watch Anime: It's just so Visceral! So PURE! Not like that crap we get from Holly-WEIRD! I mean, GOD! Like the new Star Trek was a piece of CRAP! HELLO! If you’re going to to an “alternate Universe” Trek Movie, do it in the MIRROR UNIVERSE you jerk wads!!

And the chicks in Anime are so HOT. Why - WHY - would anyone want to watch two guys getting it on when you can watch anime chicks! But like my favorite show, Blackthorne is just completely cool. He's just got this cool darkness to him. And he broods a lot because of this chick Nora. Art, my roommate doesn't think so, but that's just because he doesn't get it. I mean he's a PRINCE without a nation all because of Longshadow! But she's just as messed up as he is! I just know they’re going to get together by the end. Don't get me wrong, Aeshyn is really hot, but she's an ELF-chick... it just couldn't work out. I mean they'd have messed up kids, with like have horns or something! And Nora is just a crazy freaking bitch, so it's gotta be Longshadow.

But, uhm, yeah... I watch anime because it's cool.

Why do you watch Anime: Well, I enjoy most anime, but hentai makes me hyperventilate and my toes go all tingly. I like the action, the art, and the stories a lot, but I really like movie night at my friend Scotty's house, because we all watch anime, and hang out, and have snacks. Scotty's mom even makes sure to buy gluten free soyRITOs for me. That's really cool. I just wish that regular Sci-Fi shows were as cool as the anime stuff me and my friends watch.

Why do you watch Anime: I never really thought about that. I used to watch it because it was so new and different. Because the stories were good, and the art was so cool. Later on I watched it because it made me feel like there was someone out there who knew how I felt. Micheal Kaine once said that as an actor you don't point to yourself and say “this is the character”, you hold up a mirror to the audience and say “this is you”. No one in the US was doing that for me. I guess I needed someone from another culture to help me feel like I belonged somewhere.

After my Dad died, I watched a lot of anime just so I wouldn't have to see the real world anymore. I guess I watch it for a lot of reasons; reasons which have changed as I have grown from a teenager to a guy looking at middle age. For now, I watch it because it is an excuse to hang out with my buddies. And my mom really likes to have a house full of people once in a while, and my friends like to eat her cooking (and mine). So I guess I watch anime because it's a part of me.
